In a time when alot of underground indie bands are turning to prog, (which is totally fine by the way!) its always refreshing to hear a band that make straight up indie-pop and Copy Haho are one of those bands! Hailing from Scotland, this quartet have been working hard all year! Having toured all over the shop earlier this year in support of their fantastic 5-track EP 'Skills For Bred & Magic', the boys have two more massive tours lined up this Autum/Winter promoting this purely brilliant 7" single! Following from last years 'Bookshelf' and 'You Are My Coalmine' singles, comes 'Wrong Direction'; a perfect slice of guitar pop, with a hook that your'll be humming for weeks and a massive chorus to match that will keep smiling and bopping away as the nights draw colder and darker. Whats also great about this release, is that its B-side is just as killer as the A-side! 'Demons and Gods' boasts yet another awesome guitar line, with a slightly harder edge with crashing drums and a rocking piano line which comes at the tracks slick twiddle-pop ending! And if there performance of this toon was anything to go by at this years 'Off The Cuff' festival, then it looks like this is gonna be rocking out a venue near you this winter! Basically, this is music to dance to, its just straight-forward, up-lifting indie rock with a pop twist; this band demands your attension!Rating: 9/10
